Memorial Post for Little Jerica and Her Mother Lisa Mason

*********************************************************************

Be near me, Lord Jesus!

I ask Thee to stay

Close by me forever

And love me, I pray.

Bless all the dear children

In Thy tender care

And take us to heaven

To live with Thee there.

Amen.

When tomorrow starts without me and I'm not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me I know you'll miss me too. When tomorrow starts without me please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. It said my place was ready in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all my life, I'd always thought I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, so much yet to do, it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad, I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday just even for awhile, I'd say good bye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be, for emptiness and memories would take the place of me. When I thought of worldly things I might miss tomorrow I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. When I walked through heaven's gates I felt so much at home When God looked down and smiled at me from His golden throne. He said, "This is eternity, and all I've promised you, for life on earth is past but here it starts anew. I promise no tomorrow but today will always last, and since each day's the same day, there's no longing for the past. So when tomorrow starts without me don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me I'm right here in your heart

That was such a beautiful piece.

Perhaps I'll use it, with your permission, for the next few months as Jerica's memorial post.

I had promised to do this memorial post for a year for the little girl and I have some months to go...

Did you want me to cite the name of someone as the author for it or just use anonymous???? Actually there were many beautiful medieval pieces, poetry and music, that are just by Anonymous...

im very happy you posted the piece i sent .it was a rememberance piece for me since her father was able to send a letter to her funeral in his words and i was not, i though this would be the right place for it!

I'm glad you told me that...

My ultimate goal here is to do everything in my power to ensure that him, his father and that Judge wind up in the same cell block...in Attica somewhere...

I wonder where's your memorial for the 4 children murdered by their mother (Kathleen Folbigg, New South Wales). Or the one for the 5 children of Andrea Yates.

I'll add it as soon as the MRA sites that you hang out on add Marcus Wesson who yesterday received the death penalty for murdering NINE of his children and/or Adair Garcia just recently sentenced to life w/o parole for murdering FIVE of his kids (he tried to murder SIX but one 9 year old managed to survive)...

Okay...

This is NOT a site about parents who murder their children by the way...but a site about women in their role as mothers...as parents who murder their children are RARE although FATHERS do happen to murder more children then MOTHERS and MEN overall murder far more children then WOMEN, yet that's NOT what this site is about, so these cases are rarely mentioned unlike your sites which talk about NOTHING else but these odd people who commit horrible crimes of one kind or another...

This site is NOT about that...

Okay...

The Jessica Rhodes case is important to women because the baby, at the age of 5 months, was the victim of a judically-sanctioned abduction BEFORE the murder...and I wished to highlight that situation to women and how it came about...

That's the point of that case...if you bothered reading anything about it on this site...it's not part of a contest to see which parent murdered more kids as I could fill this site with horror story after horror story about fathers who murder their children but I do NOT. Unless it has some other point within it that I wish to inform mothers about...

Get it...
